Did You Know?

• The very first homeopathic remedies were tested more than 200 years ago on a group of physicians, roped in by the founder of homeopathy Samuel Hahnemann who included himself among the test subjects.
  

• Homeopathic medicine has continued to evolve and groups of volunteers, usually practicing and student homeopaths, still test new remedies today, keeping a careful note of symptoms over a period of weeks or months. These investigations are known as provings.
  

• The manufacture of all homeopathic medicines is a highly specialist process that takes place in a handful of homeopathic pharmacies, all regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council.
