Mononucleosis and Homeopathy

Updated: Aug 23, 2023

Mononucleosis and Homeopathy

This is the case of a senior in high school; he went to see his GP for sever throat pain and fatigue.

He was tested and diagnosed for Mononucleosis.

Mononucleosis is an infection with the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV, human herpes virus 4, HHV-4) in which there is an increase of white blood cells that have a single nucleus (monocytes). The infection can be spread by saliva. Also known as mono, the kissing disease.

Modern medicine has no aid for this infection beside, fluids, fever reducing medicine, painkillers and rest. After the diagnosis his mom contacted me for help.

Since he was having hard time talking, his mother gave most of the information. His symptoms were: Swollen cervical glands mostly on the left side with white spots on the tonsil, any swallowing motion causes extreme pain, can hardly eat or talk, throat pain is better when drinking cold water. Feeling very tired.

The first remedy I prescribed didn’t bring any change. 3 days later I prescribed the remedy Lachesis 30C. The next day he reported improvement.

A week later he was symptom free and planning to go on a family trip.

This case shows the wonderful healing power homeopathy can bring. Homeopathy can help where modern medicine offers no solution, and such a disease can last for months.

Give homeopathy a chance!
